Dave reports that the fish are moving up in the water and will soon be feeding on surface flies and nymphs, so it soon be time to put the fast sink lines away and use the floaters and intermediates.

The lower lake has been emptied and tons of weed removed to improve the fishing

Dave and a team of volunteers have cleared out tonnes of weed to enable anglers to fish a variety of methods. The lake was drained and the weed removed manually. The lake is now filling and should be in tip top condition for the Spring Cup in a couple of weeks.
